Great Weekend #2

To kick off our weekend last Friday, we went to a circus in town.

We were super excited to be there. Because it was on a Friday afternoon at 4:30, no one was there. We pretty much had the whole circus to ourselves. So we became the circus misfits.

Marloe did her part by blocking the walk way between the bleachers and the ring with her humongous dolphin (which she later pitched a fit about and we had to switch it for a Dora).
Here is some more of Marloe doing her part to block the walk way. That's her sweet friend Jersi, who as you can see, is staying out of the way near her mom.

Here she is hanging on the bars. Do you see how close we were? We could reach out and touch the animals. Of course Marloe did and then we got reprimanded....misfit.

Daddy got her to sit with him for a minute.
Grayson enjoyed Marloe's cotton candy that she begged and pleaded for and then refused to eat. She ate all of Jersi's popcorn instead....misfit.

Here is the sweet elephant Marloe fed popcorn to and then we were reprimanded again...misfit.
No one saw sweet Jersi get a picture with the elephant. Notice the photographer in the background taking pictures for paying customers. But oh no, not us...misfit.

We really did have a great time. The kids were perfect and the crowd was just right. We went to eat afterwards with our friends. It was a nice time.

Great Weekend #1

Although both of our children have been a little sick and whiny these past two weekends, we have actually had a pretty nice time.

Bathtime Party

We Really Can't Help Ourselves...

This might be terrible to be my first blog post. It shows our humor with our kids...

(or does it show how we gang up on them and teach bad bath time ettiquette?)

Fingers to mouth...classic Little Sweetie face.

Because at the end of the day you just have to have a good ol' bath time party.

And laugh when one kid, and a noticeably smaller Wee Pie at that, intimidates the other one.

Marloe is always on guard around her little brother.

How can someone so small and happy be so intimidating?

So please don't judge us because we are laughing at the plight of our whiny two year old. Her brother just wants to play with her really. And we just want to have a party...at least two of us do. Her father didn't realize I was taking a video account of the whole thing so I caught him off guard. Love ya Drew!

Please excuse the flip of the camera. I want to get a new one so I can take better videos and pictures...hint hint for a Mother's Day gift, family!
